Seven Years of Listening to Mozart Sonatas, Bunnyville Single Malt Whisky NO.19

Since the launch of the first "Bunnyville No.17 Single Grain Whisky" in 2022, Bunnyville has not only won the double gold medal at the San Francisco Spirits Competition for two consecutive years, but also won the love of many whisky enthusiasts. The much-anticipated "Bunnyville No.19 Single Malt Whisky" finally launched in 2024, the 19th year of the distillery's establishment.

 Whisky from Taoyuan's Bunnyville

Taiwan is already one of the six major whisky production areas in the world. To satisfy the pursuit of whisky enthusiasts around the world for the taste layers of "malt whisky" from various major production areas, Bunnyville malt whisky uses imported malt for saccharification fermentation, undergoes one pot distillation and one tower distillation, accurately removes the methanol in the head, and then converts back to pot distillation to obtain the whisky heart to preserve the aroma of malt.

This whisky was distilled and put into barrels in 2017. Influenced by the changing climate of the mountainous area of Rabbit Hole Village, the oak barrels were then moved to the new factory near the sea for storage, producing a stunning flavor after seven years of aging .

"Bunnyville No.19 Single Malt Whisky" has a rich taste and rich flavor layers. During the aging period in oak barrels, the winemaker turned the oak barrels into speakers to play "Mozart Sonata K448". The whisky danced in the oak barrel speakers with the frequency of sound waves, making it more smooth and distinctive.

This whisky has a rich and layered aroma, with sweet berry scent, smoky tobacco flavor, and the taste of sweet almonds and honey cake, which is steady and sweet with a long finish. It can be drunk neat or with a few drops of ice water to enhance the sweetness and smoothness of the taste.

The current market price is NT$1399. It will make its debut at the Taipei World Trade Pure Wine Exhibition in 2024. Besides being able to taste "Bunnyville No.19 Single Malt Whisky" for free on site, you can also try a variety of whisky flavor barrel series original wine that will be launched this year.
